Athletic training is vital in an athlete’s journey. It is the development of intercollegiate program not forgetting about the safety and well being of all athletes. Facilities are provided because it is just as important as the comprehensive athletic training. Camps and clinics are also available to add sports not only to athletes but to all interested individuals. Sports facilities are the Bethel University arena for hockey; the Hargis Park for baseball; the Ona Orth Athletic Complex for tennis, soccer and softball; the Robertson Center Gymnasium for volleyball and basketball; the Royal Stadium which comprises of the concession area, storage areas, and restrooms.

Campus life is active at Bethel University. Aside form intercollegiate sports, Bethel also caters to club sports which are men’s Broomball, rugby, and volleyball. For the coed team, there is Ultimate frisbee and lacrosse. There are many other activities that students can participate in like club and services that bring about various enjoyable activities to make their stay at Bethel a meaningful one. Services include health or counseling, academic support, career development, intercultural student programs, and others. Other events are the Minnesota Youth Symphony performance, Raspberry Monday, athletics, spring concert, welcome week and student seminars.

OFFICIAL SPORTS TEAM: Royal

The Royal is the official representative of Bethel University in all sports events. The Royal competes in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III. The official colors are royal blue and gold. The Royals consist of 18 sports divided into male and female teams. The men’s sports are baseball, track & field, cross country, tennis, football, soccer, golf and ice hockey. The women’s sports are volleyball, basketball, track & field, cross country, golf, tennis, softball, soccer, ice hockey and golf.
