What College Sports Are Like at NCAA DII Colleges
D2 schools are very different than their NCAA D1 counterparts. The competition level is still very high, but coaches and athletes at this level usually have a better balance of academics and athletics. Many D1 athletes actually transfer to D2 schools every year, looking for more playing time and a better balance of school and sports. The only real difference between the two division levels is how deep the talent pool goes.
