Colorado Christian University is situated at the edge of the Rocky Mountains in Lakewood, a suburb that is about 10 minutes west of Denver.

The University is a National Collegiate Athletic Association Division II institution that competes in one of the most competitive and largest NCAA Division II conferences in the country, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. The Conference is composed of 2 divisions-West and East. The West Division includes Mesa State College, New Mexico Highlands University, Adams State College, Fort Lewis College, University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, Colorado State University-Pueblo, and Western State College. The East Division includes Colorado Christian University, Colorado School of Mines, Chadron State College, Fort Hays State University, The Metropolitan State College of Denver, Regis University, and the University of Nebraska-Kearney.

Colorado Christian University offers twelve intercollegiate sports that includes: men’s baseball, women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s cross country, and men’s and women’s soccer.
